The article justifies dialectic method and fundamental political-economical analysis for studying relationship between family and state. The authors state substantial similarity of trends and problems of family-state relationship in societies of different types. Inappropriateness of both «paternalistic» and «neoliberal» models of family-state relationship under current conditions is indicated. This social and philosophical concept considers family as both an element of social being, means of social and biological reproduction of a human and as an element of social consciousness relating to cultural sphere.
